AISHA!!!!!

My name is Aisha, from Northern India, Punjab precisely…..my Father was an ideal Muslim in the earlier days, but when it was time for my marriage,  He had become very greedy and the greed played a major role in determining which suitor would win the bride.  My interests  or what I wanted was not important.

I married into the Kumar family…as wife to the last born of 6 Children….it was such a large family with commiserately large money available……….Though, they were not of any particular religion or faith, but they were nice and very hospitable people .All the children of the family married into the home…Every Child had his or her own mansion within the same compound …my husband had three Sisters and two brothers.  They all had their respective families while their Parents stayed in the largest mansion.
I was surprised that none of the children had decided to move out of their parent’s house. Despite, they were doing very well on their own. Every Child had the financial capacity to live outside  the family house, but why weren’t they doing so …..They had such an intense bond, that it sometimes had a cult undertone.
Like other Kumar families,  I and my husband had a handful of servants working for us…Men and women, some had been working with the family for many decades.
I and my husband were not so much of friends. …we talked to each other when necessary….Sometimes I tried to get to know him more and be close but He preferred to be with his sisters instead…I noticed the same habit with his sisters, brothers….What a weird family I always thought….If only I had a choice,  I wouldn’t be there….but what would a poor lady do?!!!
The Kumars had a tradition of eating together at a dinner once in every  three month, It was my first time at the dinner:
…Every family at the same table to strengthen the interactions between the different families (so I assumed). It was called the Kumana dinner .Servants too were permitted at the table..
The dinner was going smoothly until at some point I began to notice some strange eye movements and bodily sensual movements between people who were not in any way married….and it was the first time I was noticing such, suddenly I noticed the leg of a woman servant struggling from underneath the table to reach in between the panties of my Father -in-law seated directly opposite her -just to tickle him, and He gave a big smile….Surprisingly, my mother-in-law noticed as well but ignored it…
I was shocked to the bones..The food could no longer travel safely through my throat…I excused myself,  went into my room to think about what that could be…I kept thinking…I know of polygamy, practiced by some Muslims,  but usually an ideal and official betrothal to other partners of opposite sexes ..
This was different because it was casual and obvious…and could be between people of the same sex…….
On my bed I kept thinking, the sensual eye communications and under-table , leg-under pant communications meant much more .and It felt like a usual culture in the family as every other person who also saw the communications on the dining table,  did not raise an eyebrow….This  made it much more scary for me…..I needed answers from someone who could give details without being economical with details……..I needed answers…
I got up from the bed, and decided to search for answers :It was about many hours after the dinner had ended,  I checked to see if my husband was on our joint bed, He wasn’t!  Thought He would probably be with one of his sisters gisting  as usual!
On my way to the general kitchen to find the servant I trusted the most,  I saw the same servant woman from the dining table , entering my Father in law private chamber….Ok!!! Probably to finish what she started at the table. …but how could that be?.. .??..
I saw Musa, took him to a private place and began to ask the questions I have had in the past few hours…
He started by explaining that there is a Kumar family established and founded  tradition called the “Kumana”….the dinner is to celebrate the tradition,  after such dinner…The proper Kumana would start..
The Kumana practice is a sexually related practice that permits a married person to have other partners, same sex or opposite sex or both under the same roof while still in the marriage.. …
Both the husband and wife as long as they are Kumars under the same roof, are allowed to have other sexual mates and  can have as many as possible….Kumana mates possible as long as they use protection…Any Kumar husband or wife meet with his or her SEX mate once in 3 months after the Kumana Dinner in a special room dedicated for such purpose….
The difference or benefit only enjoyed by the husband or wife of  a Kumar member, (from each other)  was the flesh to flesh sex…….this is to curb diseases and procreations by other sexual partners outside the marriage..
I was already shivering as He wanted to go into more details…Musa  said as we speak “everyone is practicing “Kumana” including my husband”……and that point I didn’t want to take in more information….but Musa insisted the more I knew the better……
He said before the next Kumana, I would have been given a partner as well, that I could choose whoever I wanted among the servants or my in-laws….whoever was available. ..and winked as he said, He doesn’t mind being my Kumana partner, He promised to be soft on me…At this point I felt like a dying prey at the very mouth of the lion…
I gathered little sanity as I walked towards my room….I saved myself the stress of imagining what my husband  and his Kumana mate would be doing…..
Throughout that night I stayed in my room, thinking of how to escape from the mad family my Father married me into…Musa mentioned anyone who already married into the family and tried to escape would get into big trouble as the family was very powerful….
I would rather die trying my escape  than stay and be part of such  generational insanity….
I looked as if all was well the next morning , got ready to go do some shopping ….with the driver and a maid with me….Took some cash from my husband’s wallet….On getting to the market,  I instructed the people with me to stay in the car while I successfully worked out my escape….
As I wrote to you,  I am with my baby girl …as at the time I left the Kumars,  I was few weeks pregnant. …
We are in a safe Christian Missionary home in Denmark…..we are learning more and more to live well and Godly in a great Christian environment. …..
There are so much pervasions in the World, guard your self from them….Believe in Jesus and your hearts will be filled with undescribable peace…
.
I write my Father and mother from time to time in India. .Everyone is fine.
Yours truly,
Aisha.
